The ConquerMaths - And ConquerComputing - Team At The BETT Show

9th February 2017

The ConquerMaths Team had a fantastic BETT Show, and we were also proud to launch the brand new ConquerComputing; the online resource for primary teachers to support the teaching of computing in schools. ConquerComputing provides lesson plans mapped to the Computing Curriculum and gives teachers the support they need to deliver effective and comprehensive lessons. Video tutorials reinforce teacher's lessons and allow them to pre-empt challenges while worksheets and downloadable resources support the students.

With the instruction of computing becoming mandatory in primary schools, demand for such a resource is unsurprisingly extremely high and hundreds of educators were very keen to request free trials of both products.

William the Maths Bear was more than happy to be ambassador for both products, and we really enjoyed talking to some very excited - and some very relieved - teachers who were very excited about learning to code!

Despite being incredibly busy on our stand we did take the time to take the odd photo while we were there... Check out our awesome new stand!

Our BETT Show team - what a handsome bunch!

Our snazzy ConquerComputing leaflet - we certainly didn't have many of these to take back to Newcastle!

Here's William The Maths Bear doing a demonstration of ConquerMaths - he is a bear of many talents!

As you can see William's outfit matches the theme of our ConquerComputing leaflet - super hero William!

The stand when it wasn't too busy...

Our Managing Director Richard Hunter enjoying some rare one on one time with an educator and potential subscriber.

We had our usual selection of pens and badges which as always went down an absolute treat!

We ended an extremely successful show with a glass of bubbly each to celebrate - no, William, NO!

We hope you all enjoyed the BETT Show as much as we did and we are already looking forward to the Education Show in March - we hope to see you there!
